Please have a look at the search help on how to refine your search term(s).
Photo Search Help
Search accepts required and omitted terms, and defaults to “OR” behavior. “OR” behavior means that a search for “california bridge” would return all hits for either “california” OR “bridge”.
To require a term, use “+” (plus); following term would ensure that only images of bridges in California are found:
+california bridge
To omit a term, use “-” (minus); this would return all images from bridges outside of California:
bridge -california
To search a string of words as if it were a single term, wrap it in either single or double quotation marks:
"San Francisco"
To require or omit a string of words, add the “+” or “-” sign within the quotes:
bridge "+San Francisco"

This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. I was told that today was the first time that four AC72s were sailing in the San Francisco bay. There were two boats from Team Oracle USA and one each from Emirates Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa Challenge. Hopefully we’ll be treated […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. Today was the first time Oracle raced their two AC72’s in the bay. At one point I was able to capture a sequence where one of their boats made a quick turn while foiling (edit: that’s called gybing on foils)! This is just […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. It was a pleasure today to see Luna Rossa, Emirates Team NZ and Oracle Team USA sailing their AC72s in the San Francisco bay. Here are some of todays captures taken from the shore.
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. The teams are getting ready for the 2nd AC World Series race in San Francisco. Just a few days left until the start. Team Oracle’s AC72 made a guest appearance today. Compared to the already big AC45s, the AC72 is just huge. I […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. I missed the first two days of racing of the RedBull Youth America’s Cup (RBYAC) here in San Francisco, but I was very pleased to see our Swiss Team Tilt being in second place. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep this position during races four […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. Today was race 8 of the Louis Vuitton Cup. With a win, Emirates Team New Zealand could close the series. But the weather was much different than in the past few races. The wind was hovering just below 10 kts and the Golden […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. Luna Rossa against Artemis Racing, the first semifinal of the Louis Vuitton Cup here in San Francisco. Everyone was wondering how well Artemis will do in their first race and only on day 9 on their new foaling AC72. It showed that they […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. It is summer in San Francisco which means colder temperatures and a lot of fog. Today was no exception: This is the second time that Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) met Luna Rossa Challenge (LR) in the Louis Vuitton Cup. A week ago, […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. Last week’s Louis Vuitton Cup sailing races were kind of strange as only one lonely boat worked the course. Today was the first time that two boats faced each other: Emirates Team New Zealand (ETNZ) against Italy’s Luna Rossa Challenge (LR). ETNZ showed […]
This post is part of my America’s Cup in San Francisco blog post series. It is nice to see Oracle’s AC72 back on the water. Welcome back! I am looking forward to seeing it racing in the bay.
