A while ago, hummingbirds discovered the flowers on our balcony. They seem to like them. They come by, buzz around, and are gone in an instant.
To take pictures of hummingbirds, you need to plan for it and have a setup where everything is in place. You know that they will stop by right in front of your lens, continuously.
Yesterday was different. The sky was gray and it rained on and off. This hummingbird wasn’t in the mood to fly around. He just sat on top of the tomato cage.

It was funny to see how he just looked around, changed position, flew to a different spot and relaxed some more. Eventually, the rain picked up and my hummingbird left for good.

Everyone needs a break once in a while.
