The teams are getting ready for the 2nd AC World Series race in San Francisco. Just a few days left until the start.

Team Oracle’s AC72 made a guest appearance today. Compared to the already big AC45s, the AC72 is just huge. I am looking forward to see more of them in the SF bay.

Here are just a few shots I took late this afternoon when most of the boats already had called it a day. Click on any image for a slideshow.

The two boats here are relatively close. It shows well that the AC72 is much bigger than the AC45.

I got this shot far away and had to zoom a bit to have something to show. But what it shows…. Team Oracle’s AC72 indeed is ‘flying’. Team Oracle, please next time a bit closer to the shore… or could I hitch a ride on the chase boat?

Apart of Oracle, China Team was sailing until late in the afternoon too. I am happy for them that they have an additional sponsor (Hilton).
