More than a year ago, I started to look into the process of mounting images on wood panels. The initial results were promising, but didn’t completely satisfy me. In the last few months, I refined the different steps from sealing the wood panels to mounting the images and varnishing them for UV protection.
I am very pleased with the look and feel. So much, that all images for my Open Studios at Room&Board where presented this way!
This process is very labor intensive. So I can’t offer this as a standard option for all my prints, but I have a few finished images available in my Wood Panels shop page. If you want a particular print mounted on a wood panel and don’t mind to wait a few months, please contact me.
Prints and Licensing: All images are available as fine art prints and for licensing. Please contact me for more details.
