After the lunar eclipse this morning, we had a full moon tonight. For a long time we were wondering if this would be one of these nights where the moon is a no-show. But we got lucky and the fog was not that dense and laying rather low.
We waited for a long time. The it started to glow a bit behind Bay Bridge and then suddenly, the moon peeked up behind the bridge.

With the moon rising fast, we had to change our position constantly in order to get the moon and the bridge in the same frame.

With this next shot I got really lucky to press the shutter just when the moon was on top the bridge. It looks almost like the airway beacon light touches the moon. I used two images with different exposures and merged them by hand in Photoshop. And no, I did not change the position of the moon.

As the moon was rising higher, I was looking for a different image. The Bay Bridge reflection with the moon shows how bright the full moon really is.
