I have been working on this for a long time, but now finally my new website is live! The look is very similar to the old site, but it’s on a totally new code base. The user experience navigating the site should be improved by the sub-menus and the breadcrumbs. Last but not least, I added more content. A lot of images from last year’s trip to Mongolia are shown here for the first time!

This new website uses a responsive design which means that every page and image gallery scales and adapts to fit the device on which it is being viewed. It is based on the CE3  Lightroom web plugins from The Turning Gate.net. It is a great way to get a photo website up and running in a short time and provides plenty of ways to customize its appearance. Yeah, that’s why it took a while. Please let me know if you are interested in learning how I modified the templates in order to get my unique look.

Since the first phase of this redesign is done, I can turn my focus back on my images. There are piles of pictures taken on my recent trips to Death Valley, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite that are awaiting processing.
